Before I upgraded from the 430 to the 440 the 430 would show traffic for TIS. The 440 does not seem to do that.
Sometimes it will announce that traffic is unavailable audibly and will say there is traffic audibly but not show anything on the screen even though I have it set to below 40 miles.
Is it a setting I am missing? |

Make sure you have the correct settings in the 440 Main ARINC 429 Config, Data input
Garmin GTX 330 w/Traffic Garmin GTX 330 w/TIS This ARINC 429 speed should be set to the high speed. I believe you will receive TIS-A traffic only if you are in an area that has the TIS-A radars. TIS-B traffic has significantly wider coverage but you will need and ADS-B in receiver
