Has anyone had a fan failure yet?

I've had this a couple times on startup on my IFD440. It's winter, and ambient temp was under freezing.

As it is a yellow warning, it can be ack'd and operation continued but should be fixed before spring comes and things warm up.

Before I give tech support a call, I'm just wondering if the fix can be done locally or if I should expect to return the unit to the factory, hence the question to the forum.

I wonder if maybe moisture (condensation drops) have frozen to the metal between the blades, and it is stopping the fan from rotating.

Does it clear itself when the unit warms up?

The unit has two fans, and their operation can be checked on the ground before flight via the diag menus (accessible from the same environment you're in when you update nav data).  There's a screen that shows both fans and their present rpm.  You can check there to see if both fans are faulty, or just one.
