Our STC presumes the pre-existence of the STec servos.  If you can find a way to have them installed without having to put in a STec flight control computer then our STC can take over from there.

I am in the process of purchasing a 182 with only the 300A autopilot installed.  My question is about the new STC for the DFC90 with the Aspen PFD.  Do I already have to have an Stec a/p installed in order to qualify for this STC, or can it be installed from what I have now using Stec servo's? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
