IFD 440 won't go into VLOC mode

   So I have an IFD550 and IFD440.  I use the 440 most as com2.
The IFD440 is connected to a GI106.  Doing some tesitng today, noticed that the IFD440 won't switch to VLOC mode.  Just stays in GPS mode.  No issue on the IFD550.

I don't know how ong its been that way.  Any clues where to start looking?

	The only thing I can tell you is that I have the same configuration, and my IFD440 does go into VLOC mode and displays on my GI106. Hopefully it is just a configuration issue and not a hardware/connection issue.
