I'm having a strange problem since upgrading my iPhone to iOS 12. The phone is paired with the AMX240. BT music and application sounds play normally. However, phone audio is… inaudible. I can hear the change in sidetone when the phone call connects, but I can't hear the other end of the conversation. I didn't change any settings on the panel post-iOS upgrade, and this used to work fine. Has anyone else run into this problem?

I had similar problem with the iphone connecting to my Lightspeed headset. What worked was to "Forget Device" in the phone bluetooth setting and pairing it again, it restored the phone call function.

There may be an iOS issue indeed. I recently had to unpair my iPhone X from my car and pair it again because it was not connecting right. I blamed my car, but maybe it was the phone itself that had the problem and needed a reset of the connection. I did not have to re-pair my Lightspeed Zulu.

I had the same problem this week. Lots of crackling, so unpaired both the phone and iPad re-paired  seems to work now.

A little google about “iOS 12 Bluetooth audio problems” shows it’s not an isolated problem. There were some WiFi/Bluetooth fixes in 12.01 so I’d suspect apple introduced a driver issue that’s still lurking

I'll try that, thanks. On the day of my last flight in the plane, I dropped the phone and cracked its screen; I've replaced it (so the new phone won't be paired) but haven't had a chance to fly yet. Hopefully this weekend…
