Does Avidyne have any plans to increase support with Dynon entering the certified market?  It would be nice if the IFD supported Dynon's ADS-B serial format and engine monitor formats to get fuel flow/etc into the IFD flight plan management.

In most every promo photo of the Dynon panel, you will find an IFD. I think that that is no accident, and bodes well for good future integration.

If I were Avidyne or Dynon, I'd be looking for every partner I could find to help fight the G* juggernaut. As Orest said, I'd bet 10gal of avgas that that's exactly what's happening.

Is your understanding that ver. 10.3  will fix the MLB100 problems?
or will it need to be replaced with the Rangr, Dynon, or other.
Currently the Rangr is out of the question pricewise for a 978 only
box.  I'd have a DUAL 170 with cords on the glareshield before going
that route.

We have a good relationship with Dynon and plan to continue collaborating with them.

On that note, if I were to add extra wiring between the skyview and the IFD440/540... would it make the most sense to just add a few extra sets of RS232 lines (vs 429)?

I think if I do that, then it will be future proof (hardware wise) to add traffic, engine info, etc as support is added.

No guarantees, but yes, that sounds like a reasonable plan.
