I have dual IFD-540s along with the 605A and the MLB100. I was having issues with erratic triffic displace on both units so when I sent it into the shop for it's annual/10.2 upgrade I asked them about the traffic issue.

According to my shop, they were told by Avidyne that the 540s can only support one traffic source input and that I have the 605A on my #1 and the MLB100 on my #2.

This sounded weird to me since I am thinking that if I lost my #1 I would lose active traffic right along with it.

Can anyone confirm that this is either correct or incorrect?
