Does anyone know if the '540 can control the SL-70 transponder?

My understanding is that the remote transponder control protocol that the IFD uses to interface with the AXP-322 is Avidyne-specific.

Also, I find no mention of an interface with the SL70 anywhere in my IFD-540 installation manual.

So while I can't claim to "know", I am fairly certain it does not.

The IFD does not support the SL70.
