Jake,

What happens to the autopilot if the AHRS supplying info to the autopilot fails? Is there any back up mode?

I assume that's the primary input for heading and wings level.

Hi Larry,

No, there is no backup mode for DFC90s. If the supplying AHRS (Avidyne or Aspen) becomes unavailable, the autopilot will not work at all.
