I’ve got the current databases in my IFDs, but today I couldn’t load a waypoint in my IFR clearance. ForeFlight has the waypoint, but the IFD wouldn’t find it. Are there some waypoints that are not in the databases?
WUDUV is the waypoint used to navigate around some of the restricted areas on my flight today. Again, this was an IFR cleared route.

Interesting...WUDUV is not in my current IFD100 North American database or my airline issued Jeppesen FD Pro navigation database; however, WUDUV does show up in my FlyQ efb database. A quick check of airnav.com shows WUDUV as only a military waypoint.

Airnav.com lists the VUDOO waypoint as both a Military STAR as well as STAR waypoint.

My thought is that possibly military only waypoints are not included as part of the IFD Jeppesen navigation database.

Makes sense.  Wonder why it was ATC assigned then.
