Now that 10.1 is available .. may we presume that the support of the MLX is now very near?

It is a worthy candidate. Of course with certified avionics, nothing is "very near" unless your time scale is measured in eons.

The unit definitely needs an international datalink solution.

I gather from your answer that it still is on the wishlist but not on the roadmap for the next few software releases? By this time that would be very dissappointing.

Not necessarily true. It's a major required "clean up" item to round out the product completeness.
