I received this email from Jepp.  It appears they will be changing the way we download data to our FOBs.

Dear Valued Customer,

Thank you for subscribing to Jeppesen data services for your avionics. We have some important news and action required regarding your services.

On December 31, 2015 the app you've been using to manage your subscription updates - Jeppesen Services Update Manager, or JSUM - will be phased out. We will be introducing the Jeppesen Distribution Manager (JDM) app in its place, which offers some great new features and better usability.

To make the transition as simple as possible, you will receive an in-app update to install JDM directly from JSUM in the same manner you receive data updates. We will be rolling out the JDM update to customers in groups over the course of the next few months. So please keep an eye out and switch to JDM as soon as the update is made available to you to ensure there is no interruption to your services.

The move is easy and seamless - we promise! Please visit our JDM page to get more information, including videos that will help you prepare for the move.

It is pretty much the same program, just a little more graphical with a bit more extra information.

For some time, I've been using JDM (Jeppesen Distribution Manager) for Mac. It works great and is more sophisticated than JSUM ever was.
