I had my IFD440 installed a week ago and I've been playing with it in the airplane as well as using the simulator. One thing I can't figure out is how to close a STAR to get turn prediction to fly by the DTW to the IF. I wish there was a LSK that said "Close STAR" that you could press if you received the approach clearance prior to the DTW.

Please someone let me know if there is a good way to accomplish this.

Yes, I'd like to see a solution to this as well. The other issue with open type Cdn RNav STARs is that VSR calculations do not work, once you load one.

Just noticed you are at CZBA, just up the road from me. I'm at CYFD.

Well Orest, I'm sure I've spoken to you many times, I'm a YYZ TCU controller and CYFD is one of the airports in my airspace.
